General
Our event attracts between 8,000 and 10, 000 people every year and can become quite congested in some areas, particularly before the main display (19.00-19.45) and at the end of the event (20.30-21.00) However the further back you stand towards the pavilion (away from the stage), the less crowded the site will be.
Parking
Due to the location of the site there is no on-site parking. Limited street parking is available on nearby roads. Early arrival is advised. Traffic enforcement is in operation, so please park legally.
Access for Wheelchairs and Mobility Scooters
Our fireworks display takes place on grass and can therefore become soft underfoot in wet weather. The most straightforward means of access is via our Sutherland Avenue entrance.
A tarmac path also leads from Westerleigh Road across the site and allows access to the hard standing in Sutherland Avenue, from here you can access tracking which runs across the back of our site.
Toilets
Toilets are available on-site, located on the grassed area just north of the Pavillion building. There are no changing facilities on site and the Pavillion toilets are not accessible for spectators.
Accessible Toilets
An accessible toilet is avaliable on hard standing, located near the entrance to the Pavillion car park.
Support for Hidden Disabilities
We understand that disabilities are not always visible. We welcome and support people with emotional, sensory, or hidden disabilities, and encourage anyone who needs assistance to get in touch with us before or during the event.
Assistance Dogs
Assistance dogs are able to attend our event, however fireworks can be noisy and therefore stressful for some animals.
Medical Facilities
Medical facilities including a mobile treatment centre and ambulances (including Paramedic cover) are available.
Noise
Our main display will be quite noisy, however our ‘less bangs more whizz’ children's display may be more suitable for some guests.
Help and Support
Members of Round Table and volunteers from a variety of different organisations are on hand to provide support and assistance if required. Look for any of the stewards wearing high-vis with the Round Table Rondel.
